Quilters of Hope |

Many women have approached NHCC asking the staff for employment . Kathy Tucker had experience making Quilts in the “ Patches of Hope” project. Kathy has hired and trained 10 widows with children to make small quilts in the new “Quilters of Hope “ project. All of these women are widows who have HIV/AIDS. Most employers in Cambodia will not hire women with AIDS. These women now earn a living wage and can support themselves and their children. The widows make small “Baby “quilts ( 52”X 84 “) . This size is perfect for a crib or to be used as a Lap quilt .
